This role is responsible for sourcing candidates, conducting initial phone interviews, and moving qualified applicants through our hiring process. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and able to identify quality candidates while providing an excellent candidate experience.

Responsibilities
- Review incoming applications daily.
- Source candidates through CareerPlug, Indeed, and other recruiting platforms.
- Conduct initial phone screenings with applicants.
- Evaluate candidates based on experience, communication skills, and job qualifications.
- Explain job duties, pay, schedules, and company expectations.
- Schedule qualified candidates for interviews with management.
- Send interview confirmations and reminders.
- Follow up with candidates after interviews.
- Maintain accurate applicant records in our Applicant Tracking System (CareerPlug).
- Update candidate statuses throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with offer letters and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate background checks and pre-employment paperwork.
- Maintain consistent communication with hiring managers regarding candidate progress.
- Previous recruiting, HR, customer service, or staffing experience preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable interviewing candidates over the phone.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a remote environment.
- Professional, friendly, and detail-oriented.
- Recruiting for construction, skilled trades, or field employees.
- Experience with CareerPlug, JazzHR, Indeed, or similar ATS platforms.
- Familiarity with background check and onboarding processes.
- Screen applicants within 24 hours of applying.
- Conduct phone interviews.
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Follow up with applicants throughout the hiring process.
- Keep candidate records organized and up to date.
- Help ensure open positions are filled quickly with qualified candidates.
- Timely review of all new applicants.
- High-quality candidates moving efficiently through the hiring process.
- Positive communication with applicants.
- Accurate and organized hiring records.
- Consistent support for hiring managers and company growth.
