Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare job sites for daily work activities
• Assist the safety team in maintaining a safe work environment
• Handle, move, and organize materials throughout the job site
• Support carpenters and field supervisors with assigned tasks and projects
• Load and unload deliveries, materials, tools, and equipment
• Assist with daily construction activities on residential and commercial job sites
• Perform site cleanup and maintain orderly work areas
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Provide support to skilled trades as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and job site rules

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience
• General knowledge of construction practices, job site safety, and proper tool usage
• Ability to provide dependable support to field supervision
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills on the job site
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Must be physically agile and mobile, remain alert, and stand or walk for extended periods
• Must be able to use hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate materials and tools
• Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolds, and other elevated surfaces
• Must be comfortable working on uneven surfaces and at heights
• Must be able to read and write effectively
• Must have adequate vision and hearing, with or without correction
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of various shapes and sizes weighing 50–100 pounds up to 75% of the time
